Biographical Sketch

His general research interests are concentrated on the maritime history of Russia’s Barents Sea coasts, including the history of shipping, the history of fisheries and the history of colonization and Russian-Norwegian relations in the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th cc. In HMAP White and Barents Seas project he is responsible for collecting data on the history of fisheries from the local archives.
