Positive review of research programme 'Modern Societies in Transition'

The History of Technology research programme ‘Modern Societies in Transition’ from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands received a very positive review. The programme, which builds on the intellectual agenda of Tensions of Europe, started in 2003 at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences and is led by professors Harry Lintsen and Johan Schot. Research carried out in this programme contributed to some of the Inventing Europe projects and will be translated to a broader audience by means of the Making Europe book series and the Virtual Exhibit.
