After a PhD in history of technology about the history of renewable energy in France in the XXth century, I carried on research about nuclear power, but also biomass and waste energy in France and Canada after the oil shocks. Through history of technology and environmental history approaches, I examine, on the one hand, the technological responses to changing ecological and economic contexts and, on the other hand, the social and environmental implications of innovation.  My current work at the Centre sociale d’histoire des mondes contemporains (Université Paris 1/Labex DynamiTe) focuses on the history of biomass and waste energy  after the oil shocks.
