| Short biography | Falk Flade studied Slavistics, East European History and Economics. He received his Ph.D. in economic history with his dissertation on energy infrastructures in the Eastern Bloc. Diverse occupations in the field of science and teaching brought him to a broad range of institutions especially in Central and Eastern Europe. Current fields of research are history of economy and technology, communist studies, and oral history. |
