| Short biography | Irene Cieraad is a senior researcher in the department of Architecture at TU Delft, the Netherlands. She is a cultural anthropologist who has published widely on the subject of the history of Dutch vernacular interiors and related issues of household technology, and technology’s impact on culture. |
