Tiina Männistö-Funk is a historian of technology with research interests in everyday technologies, user practices, and the role of material culture. Her current research project deals with the changing mobility practices and the methodological possibilities of studying the material activities in the past. She is starting to work in two new research projects at the moment: One on copying technologies and their use (own project), another one on the cultural history of electronically produced human voice (together with others).
